Winter Super Seminar
Saturday, February 27th
The Right Approach to Healing: Meditation vs. Medication
Carla Foster, MD. & Jordan Foster, MD.
How do we make use of what God has given us in the healing arts? How does the medical model for healing mesh with the biblical one? Some say you can be healed by faith alone, but does such thinking conflict with or compliment what the medical community tells us?
Health & Holiness
Erica Phillips, MD.
Emphasis on health from a faith standpoint is nothing new. The truth is, God wants us to be concerned about our health. We will learn, through an exploration of select features of the Holiness Code in Leviticus, how to wed good science with good spirituality.
The African Presence in the Bible
Rev. Raquel A. St. Clair, Ph.D.
This class will examine the significance of African lands and peoples in the Bible. Students will also explore the differences between modern and ancient notions of race to help them better understand our faith and scriptures.
