The Servant Leader 4/40 Plan
Are you in compliance?
The
4/40 Plan for Servant Leaders is in full swing. The plan went into
effect on Wednesday, October 1st and will run through Sunday, November
9th.
The 4/40 Plan describes the 40-day grace period
given to all servant leaders and small group facilitators who are not
currently in compliance with EBC's 4-Step Discipleship process:
Gather, Grow, Give, Go
If any servant leader or small group facilitator is not currently:
- Attending weekly worship, physically or virtually
- Engaging in some form of daily devotion and prayer
- Participating in an EBC sponsored Small Group experience
- Taking, or registered to take, a Discipleship Development course
- Actively tithing 10% of his/her annual gross income
- Serving, or scheduled to serve, at home or away
By
Sunday, November 9th, then he or she will be immediately removed from
leadership until such time that he or she is able to live up to EBC's
leadership standard. I also challenge all who are not servant leaders
to stretch in at least 1 of the 4 steps, to deepen your own commitment
to growing in Christ.
